zig zag custom indicators show highest or lowest bar. This indicators can help you for take position.
If indicators shows highest, it better for SELL position, and if indicators shows lowest, better for take BUY position or wait for retrace if want to take SELL position.
This indicators can not stand alone, this custom indicators need other indicators for better result. Usually it used with parabolic custom indicators or ADX indicators.
